The Circus Festival City of Figueres will take place from 20th to 24th February and it presents 24 shows featured by 75 artists from 14 different countries.
This third edition of the festival brings to Figueres new shows not performed in Europe, and it’s increasing its impact inside and outside its borders; lots of people from France, Argentinaor Japanbought entries to enjoy it. That’s why the festival doesn’t stop growing, in the number of shows, artists and participant countries.
One of the novelties of this year is the first show in Europe of the Troupe del Circo Nacional de Pyongyang, from North Corea, one of the most outstanding circus companies in the world.
And the festival wants to get closer to the city that hosts it, so this year there will be about twenty free acts, like meeting and street shows, so the festive atmosphere will be palpable in every corner of Figueres.
