The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic (MMVV) arrives at its 26th edition with its consolidation as an international reference music festival.

The MMVV is a meeting point for all the sectors in the music industry since 1989. During four days, musicians from all over the world but especially from the Mediterranean area show their musical proposals, which include a wide range of styles aimed at all kinds of public.  

 

The opening show will have 9 concerts. A duet made up for Roger Mas and Benjamim Taubkin will be the first to open the festival. The other concerts will be played by Calima, 17 Hippies, Pegasus, The Mamzelles, Zebda, Ian Sala, Miquel Serra and Ocellot.

 

After that, more than fifty bands will play in different places of the city for four days. Some of the most outstanding concerts are the CD launches of Adrià Puntí, Raimundo Amador, Marlango, Kepa Junkera, or Pau Vallvé. In addition, there will also be new proposals, like Toni Xuclà, Germà Airé, Beach Beach or Eskorzo.

 

Between Friday and Saturday there will also be free concerts for the general public, with artists like Fundación Toni Manero, Els Pets, Rapsusklei, Joana Serrat, Manel, Bongo Botrako, Joan Colomo and Hombres Bala.

 

The Mercat de Música Viva de Vic also includes the MVLAB, a meeting point where programmers, institutions, festivals, companies, promoters, agencies, record companies and professionals share knowledge and experience and they promote business and innovation in the sector.
