The Primavera Sound festival brings to Barcelonathe best international music until the 31th May. This is the 14th edition of this recognized festival, which will be placed at Forum.
The Primavera Sound is one of the most renowned music festivals in Europe. This year there will be nearly 250 concerts and some of the most famous artists that will play there are Arcade Fire, Pixies, Queens of the Stoneage or Caetano Veloso.
The festival includes a lot of Spanish bands, and this year there will be concerts by very famous groups in Spain, as El Petit de Cal Eril, Standstill or Za!. But Primavera Sound has also unknown bands, so it’s a good showcase of the musical situation in an international level.
Most of the concerts are performed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night, but on Wednesday night the festival opens its doors to the city and it offers free concerts. Stromae and Holy Ghost! are some of the bands that will be playing for free at Forum.
