From 3rd to 8th December, the 13th edition of the REC festival brings to Tarragona the best international cinema.
This new edition has the section “My first time”, which will present the first films of two famous filmmakers, Agustí Villaronga (Tras el cristal) and Elio Quiroga (Fotos). In the First film section, the festival will show five Spanish premieres and a European one, a finalist of the LUX prize and three films proposed for the Oscar by its own countries.
This year also continues the series Focus in, which reveals contemporary cinema trends; “Eurobronx” is the title of this year’s section, which is focused on European suburbs, frontier areas and no-places that created their own codes and unwritten laws. In addition, the section Authors from Tarragona will continue promoting the local scene and the Bizarre night will bring new surprises.
The festival will close with its own production, called “Clásicos al día”, a show that mixes documentary and performance dedicated to Dalí that will be projected the 8th December in the teatre Metropol.
